Say Yes to No Logging

Dear Representative,

Americans are saying enough is enough: A recent national poll shows 69
percent of them want to stop commercial logging on federally owned lands.

Reps. Cynthia McKinney (D-Ga.) and Jim Leach (R-Iowa) have introduced H.R.
2789, the National Forest Protection and Restoration Act, to halt
commercial logging on national forests. I urge you to add your name to the
growing list of co-sponsors of this bill to end the ecologically
destructive timber sales program, redirect timber subsidies into worker
retraining and ecological restoration, and save taxpayers at least $300
million annually.
